Very large and thin Mid-Century Modern, Murano glass sconces, Barovier & Toso style, Italy 1970s.
The pair of stylized leaf shaped sconces have brass mounts, with a beautiful patina, and gold leaf handmade Murano glass.
The real gold flakes color of the Murano glass creates a semi opaque effect, projecting a halo of light all around the sconces, on the wall. However, some warm light goes through the sconce too.
The vintage pair has 2 lights each, rewired for the US.
